Customers are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of getting the appropriateness of their pumping station intake structures design, ascertained and corrected if found necessary through physical / experimental sump flow studies. The cost of modifying / improving a faulty sump or cost of frequent repairs and maintenance to adversely affected pumps due to troubles arising out of bad sump flows and cost of downtime far outweighs the cost of a scientifically conducted, physical sump model study.
